New works for sale Kapi Artspace

I have been working on some new things! I have started doing some alcohol ink artworks which I have discovered is a really fun (if smelly!) medium. Kapi Artspace up in Kaloram has accepted some of my pieces and they have been hung in their very lovely gallery space.

If you are in the market for some original artwork, or even just a lovely day out in the Dandenongs I highly recommend you head out and have a look. There are many artists showing their works in the gallery, which means there is a great variety of styles and mediums, including paintings, ceramics, sculpture, jewellery, cards and prints, and a lovely selection of books (and more) - all by Australian artists. It's a beautiful space, and you might even find that there's an art workshop you might like to sign up for! They also occasionally have events so you might like to sign up for their newsletter to be kept up to date with their goings-on (scroll right down to the very bottom of their home page, right down the bottom).

Above you'll find a fairly average photo of one of the gallery spaces and my artworks (so you'll just have to head out to get a 'proper' look), and below is a slightly better example of the style and one of the artworks currently for sale out there. At the moment there are six approximately A4 size works (framed) out there but I have started working on some that are more A3 size - contact me directly if you are interested in that size.

The address for the gallery is: Kapi Artspace1282 Mount Dandenong Tourist Road, Kalorama

The gallery is open Friday, Saturdays and Sundays, 11am - 5pm.

The gallery website can be found here

There is also a cafe, an amazing view of the valley and some lovely mountain walks all near the gallery so you can make a day of it (not to mention that Olinda and Sassafras are but a hop, skip and a jump away). Enjoy!
