The Making of My Abject Failure workshop

A lot of play and experimentation is about becoming ok with the idea that we might fail, as difficult as this is. But without the possibility of failure, we can't be truly creative.
This workshop, while unusually titled, is lots of fun! It is all about creative play, experimentation, and asking, 'what will happen if I try this....' and seeing what happens. The aim is to try and let go of expectations about what creativity is (and what visual arts 'is') and experiment with the variety of materials to flex your creative engagement.
This isn't a 'skill-based' workshop, in that the main aim is not to learn new technical skills (although you may learn some), but to flex your experimentation muscles. This means it's suitable for anyone ('artist' or not). But I don't just leave you hanging, there is a structure with guidance and ideas, and then lots of room for play.
By the end of the workshop, due to the focus of the workshop being on experimentation and potential failure, the options will be to keep what you've made, rip up what you've made and try something new or possibly even burn what you've made!
There are limited places available, so booking is essential.
Once bookings are made, I'll send payment, address, and parking details.
